As a result of the fire last Dec 2022, the shop sustained a total loss. We maintained all our digital records and completed the insurance settlement. Were my consignment items covered? All consignment items lost in the fire are covered at 75% of the listed value. For example: If your board was listed at $100, your payout settlement is $75.
When will I receive my settlement?
The payout schedule consists of over 3,000 claims handled one at a time. Payouts will be ordered according to date of consignment starting with the oldest boards first (c. 2014) and may take several months to complete.
How will I receive my settlement?
Payouts will be sent out via PayPal, and you will be notified via email when your funds are sent. If you do not have a PayPal account a link with instructions on how to obtain your funds will accompany the email.
How do I verify what I lost in the fire?
You can send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name, phone number and email address (as provided at consignment). This information will be used to cross reference your profile information and verify your listed item(s).
